I bought a slightly more expensive brand and chose these because they were about $2 cheaper. Well you get what you pay for. I washed the other brand about 6-8 times before sending them to the towel box in my husband's garage. and they were still in great condition, just a little shrunk but more stained than they meant to use in the kitchen, but still in good, usable condition. somehow stuck to the pad and the pieces of towel washed away exposing the pad. I haven't had a chance to reuse them. So I decided I would continue to pay extra for another brand as it was worth it. It leaves a lot to be desired when compared to other "bamboo towels" on the market.
