Street and track speak for themselves. My day at the track passed without drama. Between fresh brake fluid and these pads, I haven't felt any noticeable difference in braking performance in any of my sessions. These pads took the 4500 lb Mercedes Benz SL 500 into NCCAR with no problems. I'm almost embarrassed to say it braked better than my old NSX. A few other drivers choose to stick with the factory pads on their AMG cars of similar weight, but have experienced brake failure before lunch. I guess the best example of pad performance happened at the end of the day during my 2 hour drive home. My brakes were consistently effective throughout the day, both on and off the track. These pads really complemented the car's braking system, but in day-to-day driving you'll forget their potential if you don't push them to their limits every few seconds. Factory level brake dust, no more, no less. I will let you know when and if I am bringing this car to the Barber Motorsports park in October.
