Worth the money for the thicker gauge
This is the third time I've buried dog fencing wire. The first two times I went cheap. On the cheap wire, the spool broke, leaving me with an awkward tangle that made the awkward job worse. This solid wire is supplied on a thick spool. The wire itself is much thicker and stiffer, making it easier to push to the bottom of the trench. It feels very durable. The heavier gauge is unlikely to affect the performance of the fence, but will help resist future wire breaks. Wiring in an RF choke and wandering around with a radio looking for a broken wire really is a pain.
