The main reason I bought this mount specifically for my Surface Pro 7 is because my dock doesn't have an HDMI port and when I'm away on business quite often. I'm in meetings where I'm speaking and I need an HDMI connection. So I figured it was designed specifically for my PC, so it must be great, right? Not correct. It worked great the first morning, but it didn't connect during the day (no signal). Also, he got very hot. I ended up using a colleague's (not Surface Pro) attachment and it worked fine. I don't know why I spent money on this. Definitely not worth it.
