I have yet to find out the name of the bluetooth app for android phones. I found that the load terminal can handle 5 amps. Since I installed it in the box and it's getting hot, I'm going to put a 5" x 5" 12V fan between the controller and the box and blow hot air out. I wanted to use the load side of the controller as a timer to turn the fan on and off. Unfortunately you can't. Buy a timer now. During the day you need to turn on the fan, that's $$-back. All options allow you to program the fan to turn on at night with no sunlight when the controller is mostly idle. As soon as the sun shines in the morning, the load is switched off at the desired time. For that reason it's 4 stars at best, maybe 3 stars more appropriately. If I had known that beforehand, I would not have bought it. Another thing I learned is that 40 amps is too much for a 400 watt solar array. In my opinion a 30 watt controller is enough. I had a 100 watt Renogy panel that put out a maximum of 62 watts, the maximum current I saw was 5.29 amps. I put the Renogy on the shelf and got a 200 watt panel from Newpowa. This panel delivers 185 watts and 13.76 amps. Tomorrow I will have another Newpowa so my max amps will be close to 28 amps.
