Out of the box does not work
I'll be back. Even after the manufacturer provided diagnostic and troubleshooting support, the USB-A ports never worked. Tested with two MacBook Pros (2016 and 2020 Editions) without multiple USB-A and -C peripherals, cables, etc. USB A stubbornly refused to work (no power, no device detected, no communication with device). It looks like a fool. Replacement by ordering directly from the manufacturer without any problems.
