We have a large house with old single windows. Even with a new air conditioner, the house is warm. We have double sliders in our family room and it gets quite hot during the day. First we tried it on sliders. As it was a large surface my husband and I had to apply it together. It took about an hour to make all 4 sliding doors. During the day it has a nice mirror surface and the room was noticeably cooler. It also removes glare from the TV. In my photo, one side of the door is tinted and the other is not. Big difference! It darkens the room, just like wearing sunglasses. We have just ordered a few more rolls to add as we are sure it will make a difference.
