Bought for coloring for adults. The ad claims there are 144 colors. It is not true. There are 72 double-sided markers (one end is brushed and the other thin), but each marker is only one color. The colors are still not 72 as some of the colors included are exactly the same or so similar to others in the pack that they really can't be considered different shades (i.e. there are 4 or 5 'grey' shades but they literally look exactly the same on paper. Same goes for some blues.) Overall I think there are probably more than 55-60 really unique colors out there. The supplied color chart is very misleading. Luckily, they include a DIY color chart so you can see what color it actually is before using it. I've included some photos of my DIY color chart versus the printed one. Some colors are correct, others are misleading (see for example number 1, this is bright red not deep red). Also the colors of the marker caps are misleading. I definitely recommend trying each color on white paper before finally making your choice and using them in your project. On the other hand, the course of both ends of the marker is very pleasant and fluid. They are great for coloring! The fine tip is great for drawing, shading, and writing. The end of the brush gives a very nice brush effect and doesn't leave a puddle of paint on the page like I've had with some others. The markers are acid free and water based making them great for bullet journaling or even scrapbooking as they are photo safe. The kit also includes 3 brush nibs (marker ends) and 2 fine nibs, along with instructions on how to replace them if the pen is damaged - so 5+ for that! Likewise. I read somewhere that they have a contoured handle. Not at all. They are straight and hard. No flexibility or contouring. I have attached photos of my first project for you. Not the best creation in the world, of course, but I hope they last a long time and I have the opportunity to learn how to use them better. Overall a 4 star rating due to poorly accurate product advertising. I would give the product itself 5 stars for ease of use and quality. I would probably buy these again. Hopefully the seller will correct the packaging/advertising to be more correct and less misleading.
