Even though I LOVED the design, color, and features of this laptop case/bag at first sight, I hesitated to order it based on some of the reviews and questions/answers I read about it here about how "the 17" size won't fit 17" laptops". I cannot express how glad I am that I went ahead and ordered it anyways. My laptop is a 17.3" HP Pavilion which I bought new in 2015. When my laptop is closed it measures 10.75"x16.75". Because it's a larger laptop, I've run into some difficulty finding a quality, attractive laptop bag/case for it. Typically, the bags/cases for larger sized laptops are limited in design and color. My laptop fits PERFECTLY into this bag/case! It isn't too small OR too large. Its padded lining provides excellent protection, and the bright blue color inside makes it much easier to find any stray items or paperwork that may get tossed in. The outer pocket still manages to keep a slim, sleek design to the bag with ample storage space for my charger cord, HDMI cord, flash drive, and my wireless mouse (all at once!). Also, there is a zipper pocket on the opposite outer side that could hold any loose paperwork, business cards, etc. However, standard-sized file folders would not allow that pocket to zip. (Just stick those in with your laptop:)) Another awesome feature are the metal (as opposed to plastic) lobster clips and rings for the shoulder strap which add even more protection. I highly recommend this product!
