I found the shelves to be easy enough to assemble although they recommend two. I don't have the strength brackets to attach the shelves to the wall for stability. So now I'm trying to think of another way to keep the books from falling over, and they did once before. Luckily I don't have any pets or grandchildren on the shelf. power tool? yes, if i wanted to use power tools, i could build a shelf or screw it to the wall. Love the shelf, just need to find a way to keep it from falling over without making it a permanent fixture.
