A long time ago I tried one of these non-genuine cartridges and it didn't work in my HP printer. Since then I've only used HP cartridges, but since they're getting very expensive, I decided to give them a try. I should have known better. One of them will not work at all. I get a message on my computer that the cartridge is defective. The other works but takes forever to print the page. My guess is that HP doesn't want you to use anything other than their cartridges, so something is programmed into their printers that makes it difficult to use cartridges from other manufacturers. In any case, I spent money on it since I have to throw it away.
