Much better than a cheap bar! Exactly what we needed.

We had to reinforce the latch and hinges on the aluminum fence gate as two of our dogs were able to escape with the cheap latch (apparently just pushing the gate would open the latch). We researched and found D&D's MagnaLatch Series 3 and bought it. After installing D&D's MagnaLatch, we found that we needed adjustable hinges because the spacing between the posts for the latch was too large for the MagnaLatch. Luckily D&D sells these adjustable TrueClose hinges and they couldn't be simpler! Both products are very easy to install, especially MagnaLatch. Very satisfied! A++
