I wouldn't suck 30w oil off my boat.

I tried it on a boat taking water. There was 30w oil in the boat and some water was poured into the hull. This pump sucked water in with no problems. But as soon as the oil got into the pump, it started to turn off and skip the gears inside and turn off. The oil is 6 months old and wasn't thick, this pump should have pulled it out.
