I bought these socks for my teenage son (who suddenly realized that white socks weren't fashionable anymore). They met all my (and his) expectations. The most important feature of the socks for me is the COTTON CONTENT. These socks are 76% cotton and limit sweat and odor (which is exactly what they're supposed to do), but there's not so much cotton that the socks don't stretch or feel rough. Then comes COMFORT. These socks are made of 21% Nylon and 2% Elastane and have perfect stretch and softness for optimal comfort. They don't get rough after multiple washes and my son says they are very comfortable. Then DURABILITY: Reinforced heel/toe box limits heel/toe wear and increases comfort. Most socks with this design (ribs in the middle of the foot) "shrink" in the middle after repeated washing, becoming tight and uncomfortable. It's not like this. As for the fit, the sizing is true to size. My son's exhibition size is 11.5-12; I ordered size L and the socks fit well. When these socks have aged and worn down he will be ready for size XL which I will buy with confidence knowing they are HIGH QUALITY SOCKS.
