If you have an extra 35+ k and want a compact apple device for comfortable absorption of entertainment content, especially if you already have other apple devices, I recommend buying a mini. But you need to understand that most likely there will be days when you will not use it at all. By the way, before that I used the first generation mini for 7 years, and also tried the iPad Air, I came to the conclusion that the mini format is as convenient as possible. Separately, I note accessory apple pensil, the thing is not cheap (bought for 10k), but it expands the functionality, for example, if you like to draw, but this device really opens up if you work with the appropriate programs for graphics, design, and so on. Good luck!
