Review on 📏 Starrett 816A Length Tapered Diameter Gauge by Michael Wehrman

Over the past few years I've been surprised by some of the changes Starrett have made that they found acceptable, but their beats are still going. to sniff, and I've recently upgraded them with some new ones. It's easier to just buy a shot than to regrind the center punch like I've often done. I really wish they offered multiple square body or head hits so something is less likely to roll away when hit. But they're still good, and a low-angle shot is often worth the extra few seconds before a hit down center when accuracy is high on the list of importance.
