We bought two sets, a set of four and a set of ten. A set of 10 comes with a splitter so we put them in our closet (above the built in microwave) and then drilled holes in our closets to let the wires through. We could do 80 percent of our cooking with that one fork. We chose 3M tape because it was sufficient and easy. We then used glue tabs to manage the cord and zip ties to hide the excess cord. The controls are in a cabinet above the microwave which is easy for me to reach as I'm 5ft 8" but I just leave them on 24/7 because they use very little power and are incredibly pretty/useful are. We bought a set of 4 in white and plugged them into an outlet behind the counter where I keep dog supplies. You can only see about 2 inches of this wire. One thing to note is that the connector part is black even if you buy a white set. I didn't really care because the white wire was enough to get down behind a metal cabinet (it could be hidden behind a coffee maker or jerrycans. and how white doesn't really stand out against my brown color. This review should probably be given as a set of 4 gone. Because this is a set that had to be fixed to the wall with a slightly protruding cord. The cord is not visible at all on set 10. If I wanted or needed it to be brighter I would could.
