It seems a bit stronger than the OEM panel. Not quite the same plastic. The bottom latches are slightly wider than the OEM latches, so you will need to use the included frame unless you want to file the tabs to fit the new plate onto the OEM frame. Suggestion: If one of the top plastic latches on your OEM vent panel fails, remove it before you head down the freeway and order only the latches. Otherwise, buy one of these and spend more money painting it the color of your RV.
