I just received the jewelry box today, I had a hard time getting it open initially, once I did I was not able to get the box to latch or close all the way. I tried messing with the lock to see if it was stuck and just needed to be released, the lock for this box does not have a key or key hole, and I'm not sure if there is a release for the lock on the inside, but the box won't completely shut which is really disappointing. I tried resetting the lock code and had no luck. It's really cute, and has a lot of space but I'm honestly a bit bummed out.
