I'll admit I'm a bit of a 'snob' when it comes to chargers. I could never understand why someone buys a $1000 phone and then thinks they can plug it into an unnamed $5 charger they bought at a supermarket!? I usually use one of the three branded chargers. But I had a particular need for a 12 volt charger. I couldn't find any of my favorite brands but I stumbled upon this one from Otium. I became aware of the Otium brand about 18 months ago when I was looking for a decent weather and sweatproof headset that wouldn't break the bank. After that first pair I bought several more pairs for my wife, kids and myself and have never been disappointed. So I took a chance with this charger. I am very happy with the choice. The build quality appears to be excellent. Even the packaging is good. I like the on/off switch for the 12V socket, it's very handy when I need to turn off the radar detector. Having PD and QC 3.0 charging ports is a huge plus as my wife recently switched to Apple. I'm still a die-hard Android user.
