I bought this for a recent trip to a beach and rainforest region thinking it would be a good alternative to beach towels, and it definately was! I loved that it was so compact, lightweight and was able to shake right off when we used it at the beach since the sand didnt stick to the microfiber. It was also a nice surprise that it came with a second small towel that had a clip on it- I used it a ton when hiking in the humidity and rain. It has help up great through several washes, still soft and like new despite the abuse and terrain it was used for!
