I was so surprised at how terribly uncomfortable these shoes were. The "comfort sole" is a bit soft on the inside, but does not fill the entire interior. There is a 1/4 inch gap along the edge with no padding. As a result, it always seems as if you are stepping on something. The arch support feels more uncomfortable than supportive. This is not normal for sketchers. because I usually like their shoes. Everything looked fine from the outside, but I'm not one of those people who wear terribly uncomfortable shoes just for the sake of beauty.
