Bought this card to add USB 3 to an old motherboard that had the onboard USB 3.0 burned out. Installation was complicated by the mounting plate on the board not matching the USB connectors. I had to break out the pliers and bend the mounting bracket in place so the USB cable could be inserted into the port without hitting the bracket. Once connected, Windows 10 recognized the card and everything has been working fine ever since. I really like the internal connector so you can plug in the case's USB ports and the fact that the card can be powered externally so there's no problem filling the ports with enough power to charge devices take care of. I would still recommend this product as the bracket can be attached but it would be nice if it was factory made.
