Hello. This sewing machine is good. My wife sews for them. She says that she sews very smoothly and beautifully. I looked at and read reviews of different brands and price ranges. I didn't have a lot of money to spend, so I did a lot of searching and researching before deciding on this Uten sewing machine. I've done a few stitches on this machine and it's really smooth, precise and quiet when sewing. It has many different types of stitches and even letters. This is our first machine where the baskets can be lowered with one free hand if desired. It took some time to figure out how to raise the comb rails back up. An important step is missing in the user manual. The lever must be pushed "down" before and during the return of the lever to the upper left position of the rack. Then, of course, press the needle position button twice and the fabric combs will return to their normal up position. We've had several sewing machines over the years, I'd say average price, not super expensive. We are not sewing experts. My wife has sewn dresses on these machines in the past. This ute works best. I'm glad I made this choice. Many Thanks.
