The suction cups don't work at all. The lights look great, but don't stay on the window for more than two seconds at best. So far I've only run one of the suction cups for less than two minutes. They're all so bent and twisted that they can't stay right by the window. Also the base that goes from the suction cup to the candle is shorter than the gold base of the candle. Therefore, the candle must be placed at a very slight angle to the window. Doesn't really matter, but since the suction cups are of poor quality, the tilting puts enough pressure on the spark plug, making it even more difficult to hold the spark plugs with the suction cups. They just keep pooping. We tried different temperatures all day, cleaned windows. I've been using this style of lighting for years and the idea is great, we just can't get them to stay by the window for their intended purchase. If you don't want them on your window, I might give them 4-5 stars for table decorations. If you want them on the windows, zero stars.
