Review on πŸ’¨ AC Infinity AIRCOM S7: Top-Exhaust 12'' Quiet Cooling Fan System for Receivers, Amps, DVRs, AV Cabinet Components by Marklen Baeskens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far, so good! if fan

Although I only installed it about two days ago, the AC Infinity AIRCOM S7 seems to work as advertised. I actually bought 2 of these - an S7 to cool a DirecTV DVR, a Roku (those suckers get really hot!), an ethernet switch, and then an S9 to cool a Denon AVRX4200w receiver. Both work great. Having previously owned an Antec AV cooler (which served its purpose for many years before finally failing), the first thing I noticed upon unboxing the Aircom was how durable it looks. Unlike my old Antec, which was plastic, the Aircom units are mostly metal and have a pleasantly premium feel. Something I didn't read in the description before buying but what I like is that they also have a setting that turns them off until the temperature reaches about 85 degrees, which saves energy. The LEDs on the front are also perfectly bright - just enough to tell you they're on, but not overly bright. Both are located in the entertainment center in the living room with massive glass front doors (vents on the back provide ventilation). flow). While they're audible with the doors open, they're barely audible with the cabinet doors closed when they're on. Overall I'm very happy with both the S7 and S9 and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for an AV cooling solution.
