This food is the best! I bought a hermit crab in June, put crabs on it and it immediately burrowed into the sand. He came out at night for a while and then just disappeared. I was still rearranging his food, trying to bring him fresh fruit and vegetables, but he still wouldn't come out. He was probably under the sand for a good 1.5 months and literally the night I put this food in he crawled out! I think he shed, but I don't think it's a coincidence that he came out the same night I switched his feed. The food smells fresh (like seafood but you can't smell it outside of the terrarium) and I think that's what attracted him. Anyway, I am delighted with this product and will continue to feed it to him!
