Should They Come With Cobwebs Like Cobwebs? My shrimp won't touch them and the bottle is full of clumps that look like cobwebs. I don't like touching sticky webs to fish out worms that look like dried clams.

I had 5 hermit crabs that were living fine, when I started feeding them this mixture they died one by one, this mixture can be sticky like glue when they gets wet, the hermit crabs stuck out and died instantly, my hermit crabs all died after eating this food, sad

Well packaged, looks fresh. It seems like a great mix of crunchy food, but unfortunately my crabs peck at a thing or two (granules) and I end up throwing away most of the mix. Maybe they are just picky? I still give it 4 stars because if I were a crab I would chew it.

I have been keeping my hermit crabs for over 8 years and have tried different products with them. They weren't attracted to that food and I didn't see them eating it. Her favorites are bacon chunks, Ritz crackers, and hermit crab food blocks. Keep foods fresh and replace before they go moldy.

All I can say is that crabs eat it. I use it to stay near their aquarium for a few days when I'm busy and don't have time to get them something from the kitchen. I can take that when I come over and give them something for the day. It looks like dried maggots and pieces. If you have crab, make sure they alternate what they eat. Don't just try to find the best bottled crab food and feed them the same food every day.

This food is the best! I bought a hermit crab in June, put crabs on it and it immediately burrowed into the sand. He came out at night for a while and then just disappeared. I was still rearranging his food, trying to bring him fresh fruit and vegetables, but he still wouldn't come out. He was probably under the sand for a good 1.5 months and literally the night I put this food in he crawled out! I think he shed, but I don't think it's a coincidence that he came out the same night I switched…
