I was honestly surprised at how small this came folded up, but it expands so much. Getting it back into the bag is a big difficult, but I have been able to get it back inside multiple times. I just keep forgetting how I did it each time. I would not use this without something else on the bottom because it is quite thin. I use this as a playpen for my gerbil, and while he enjoys it I am a bit nervous about the mesh sides. So far he has not tried to jump out but could if he really wanted to so I guess just be careful of that and attend to your pet if they are escape artists. (UPDATE): He did almost jump right out, best to get the one with a top on it for getbils. They seem to be thoroughly enjoying the one with the top.

I purchased this cage for my 12-lb senior dog with dementia and it initially stopped his pacing. After awhile at night he ended up lunging at the wall a couple of times. This pen will only work for a very small, infirm, or placid creature, lacking digging claws, sharp teeth and/or desire to work their way out of it.

I purchased this to use for our newborn pups! It was really great up until they were about 8weeks they are a chihuahua poodle mix so the pups were only 2-3lbs and so this was really great to get them to walk around and stay in.

I got it so I could place my chinchillas in there so they can take a dust bath while I clean their enclosure. It holds the dust well enough so I don’t have dust all over my house, and it’s very easy to clean so… yeah that’s good. My young chinchilla is unable to escape it at this time. My older chin has no issues jumping right out. All in all, I don’t regret buying it, though I wish they maybe had a slightly taller version.

I don't know if it's just my guineas or if its all but the little piggies have escaped. They learned that if they both go against the same wall they can tip it. So structure wise it's a meh but it gets the job done so I'm 100 percent happy with it. They have fun and we do too.

My 7-year-old is able to take care of this herself for playtime with her Guinea pig. She can set it up AND wipe and fold it up when she’s done. I love that I don’t have to get too involved with the process! The only reason I dropped one star is because her pig has figured out that he can push the edge and let himself out if my kiddo isn’t paying attention! So don’t leave the little pet alone in it, but overall this is exactly what we were looking for!

Purchased playpen for a very young kitten to provide a quick safe place for him to play and contain mess. Worked great! He still uses it as his safe restful place. Still keeps the mess contained.

I used this for my dwarf hamster, kept the bottom clean and set it up on my bed so he wouldn't hurt himself if he fell off his climbing toys. It's very easy to set up, clean, and put away quickly. I wanted to love this, since I've read that the slats in hamster wheels can break tiny hamster feet and toes. And I did! For three whole minutes! Up until the point my tiny hamster used her tiny feet and toes to just climb the net walls of this instead like she was training for a tiny ninja warrior competition. So while this will probably be a great pen for guinea pigs, it's just a tall gateway to the great unknown for a Lilliputian hamster.

I would not reccomend this for people with mice, rats, and critters that can climb. I originally got this for my mice so I can have them in different places around the house without worrying about them getting lost. My mice can very easily climb the mesh on the sides. I can't see the mesh very well in the pictures so I didn't know if it would be grippable or not. Not rating it bad because it's partly my fault for not knowing or looking into it more.
