To begin with, I wanted to buy headphones to listen to the Fiio X3 III player on the road. At home and at work I listen to it through v-moda crossfade m-100. The requirements were as follows: sound quality that does not make you want to spit after v-moda (I will somehow get there and write a review about them too, looking ahead - the headphones are a bomb, considering that I snatched them with a 50% discount), the possibility wear under a winter hat, and so that they do not fall apart after a day of wearing. As a result, this model met all my expectations by 100%: the sound insulation in transport is excellent, you don’t feel the word “at all” under the hat, the sound quality is simply amazing for earplugs for 4.5-5k: detailed, saturated at all frequencies, there is no obvious bulging of something specific, the volume of the scene is palpable, although the instruments sometimes sound "pointy". The main thing is to choose the right ear pads, of which there are as many as 9 sets in the kit (including pre-installed ones), if you take less - the sound becomes unpleasantly sharp, the bass disappears; if too large - we get an overabundance of bass and an unpleasant fit in the ear. About the build quality and materials: the connector, the splitter and the headphones themselves are metal, there are no complaints here; the main wire with a Kevlar braid is very durable and does not get confused, this one has served on v-moda for more than 2 years and is still like new, however, after the splitter, the wires are ordinary, with an insulator similar to rubber, although they look good, thanks to the slight relief, quite thin. It seems to me that they break very easily if something happens. The playback control panel is plastic, but made to look like metal, and rightly so, it should not be heavy. There are 3 buttons on it: upper and lower for volume control, middle multi-functional: pause, continue playback, double and triple presses switch tracks, and if you do not release the button after double or triple pressing, rewind will occur. It is very convenient to use it. In general, 1More Triple Driver is definitely worth the money.
