Replacing this tube with a REAL Capricorn tube solved the problems. The fittings provided are the typical disposable fittings you would expect from a cheap source at this price point. Don't expect to have to simply press the collar to release the hose once inserted. Yes, they hold up like most cheap fittings. However, a good fit should also loosen when the collar is pushed down.
