Sturdy, good value for money: Hardware
I bought these to hold a foldable screen printing table with a 4" x 2" heavy block as a surface. It holds up well and withstands typing pressure well. I found I had to shim the table top (see photo) because the diagonal bars that actually hold it up were only slightly above the level of the horizontal brackets, meaning the table didn't fold. I used 3/16" spacers and it worked fine. Alternatively I could route the wood where needed to keep the top of the diagonal bars clear. But I didn't have a router handy and that worked too .
