As a family dog walker I am outside every day and these mittens keep my hands warm even in very windy and very busy winter weather. The lining really helps create an effective barrier that keeps the cold out. The amputation of my fingertip made it difficult to keep my hands warm. No longer a problem with these mittens made of wool blend. Plus, these mittens look pretty - a cream shade with taupe flecks scattered across it - and are stretched to fit comfortably around your hand. The only downside is that the thickness of the mittens reduces manual dexterity, making them unsuitable for driving a car or performing small tasks. However, during activities such as hiking or outdoor sporting events, these mittens will keep your hands absolutely warm. I usually use a medium/large women's glove [hand size is 7 inches from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger] and the small men's glove fits perfectly. I will be ordering a second pair as soon as I am done writing this review. I highly recommend this product.
