Great invention. It really cleans the water surface from plaque and deposits in the aquarium without overflowing. Makes the water surface crystal clear quickly. It has a few downsides: The pump can be a bit noisy. The top float can get stuck on something and then stop working, sucking in and blowing out a lot of air. This can especially happen if the snails walk onto the glass of your aquarium - the top float is fairly close to the glass and it's easy for a snail to get underneath and stop it from working properly. It will return to normal once the snail is gone, but the device will blow a lot of air bubbles into the water while the snail is there. This would be much less likely if there was a way to mount the device farther from the glass.
