Review on 💾 PNY CS900 250GB SSD: High-Performance 3D NAND SATA III Solid State Drive by Melanee Deal

I bought it when it was good for over $30. I've been tracking 120+ GB SSDs for a few months and another good review was Silicon Power at around the same price. Since PNY seems to be the best brand and has a lot of good reviews, I went with this one. I was not disappointed. He replaced the hard drive with a 5400 RPM one, which was very slow and made a lot of noise. It came with a licensed copy of Acronis cloning software. Acronis isn't a big deal compared to even some free cloning software (EaseUS or Macrium) that have a more user-friendly interface. With Acronis, you'll have to browse the options to find what you're looking for. For example, I wanted to find an SSD initialization in either MBR or GPT, I had to look for an option. I suggest that you get a little familiar with the software first before you start the actual cloning process. I made sure I cleaned and backed up everything I didn't need on my old hard drive and reduced the size to around 60+ GB before I started cloning. It took about 20 minutes from SSD initialization to full cloning. After that, I replaced the old drive with a new cloned SSD. Laptop turned on and everything worked. My laptop bios was already set to AHCI, which is more efficient and faster for an SSD. The loading time from the spinning dots when booting Windows 10 to my login screen took about 10 seconds. By the way, a few days later I received an update from Microsoft for Windows 10 Version 1803. I have 2 laptops, the other still uses a 5400 hard drive. Both have similar hardware configurations. I updated both at the same time. The 1803 with the new SSD upgraded significantly faster than the laptop with the old drive. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase. I highly recommend this drive.
