Review on Viotek GNV32DBE 32-Inch 2560x1440P Curved Monitor with FreeSync, 165Hz Refresh Rate, and Wall Mount Compatibility by Rich Alvero

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Initial test 1st day GND32

I just received the monitor last night, my first thoughts weren't very good. The first thing I did after opening the box was aligning the monitor with the bracket. If you remove the back panel do you need to remove the 4 screws which I assume are the brackets? It's not explained well in the instructions but due to their position and the curvature of the monitor you are provided with 4 extension nuts to insert into these slots making it easy to mount the bracket to it and create the required separation . . However the top and bottom set screws are different depths but the extensions are all the same length so the top 2 are longer than the bottom 2 when fully tightened and it just doesn't work after 15 minutes of pure frustration. I said fuck it and just used the stand that came with it. Today I will do more research on mounting to a bracket and update my review. That being said, the menu is a little confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, the build quality is what you'd expect from the $279 price tag. You can tell where they've skimped on quality for the price, but honestly it's not a big deal as others are doing here again for a 144Hz 1440p 32-inch monitor at this price point. What would you expect from a Titan? Anyway, I didn't have any dead pixels, but did notice that the colors were off when I first turned the monitor on. After a quick Windows screen calibration everything was fine (something you have to do for literally every monitor you get). 1ms response time? Not sure where the setting is, need to look around and again this is my first review. The picture quality is amazing. I haven't tested the Halos yet but I gave it a 3 start rating because I'm very happy but want to get more out of the settings. and test it in other games before making a final assessment. If, like me, you want the best (curved) monitor of this size in your price range, I see no reason not to buy this product.
