Kids, but Big good for me

I wear a size 7.5 in women's shoes. I have ordered these in adult sizes, but they always feel to big and are uncomfortable. I ordered the kids size with much hope, but I'm not super happy with them. I can't go any smaller, so I kept them, but they are still kind of uncomfortable. I had a smaller pair I got from a doctor 10 years ago, they are ripping like crazy, but worked like a charm. I finally lost one in a move and needed a replacement. I'm keeping these because I'm tired of searching, but these are kind of big for a kid, in my opinion.

My son has calcaneal apophysitis and has extremely bad heel pain. He has heel cups from the podiatrist and inserts I purchased at a store. I decided to order these since they are made for kids. They are thicker than both the heel cups and inserts we have so I''m super happy as I know they will give him more relief than with what he using now...
