I ordered 7 of these HP Elite 8300's, installed 6 of them and started up with no problems, I was very pleased with the speed and ease of setup. Unfortunately, one was bad. This one also came with a frayed cord as shown in the picture. I had trouble starting it on first boot, I never got past the BIOS. After the second reboot, it got to the Windows setup screen and locked. After the 3rd try, I was able to complete the Windows installation only to find the system was slow, if not slow. It has a LITEON SSD that everyone else has, but they're just as fast! Thinking it might be a driver issue, I had Windows updated to the latest version after it failed to start after rebooting and got stuck at Windows logon. again and again. I am returning this computer. Please do not send a worn out cable to customers, I should have sent it back immediately and not even worried about the possible risk of electrocution.
