Review on Outback Power HUB10 OutBack Communication by Jeremy Adams

I was cornered to buy this. Outback could easily have designed their products to work through a standard Ethernet switch, but they created their own network to force you to buy their devices. It's nothing more than a simple PoE Ethernet hub. It seems cheap, it's made in China and costs around $5. In addition, the battery temperature is not displayed for devices other than port 1. So if you have an inverter on port 1 you can see the battery temperature. Add an inverter on port 2-10, no battery temperature is seen. Terrible technique.
