I installed the bracket and cable on my 2016 Nissan Altima SV. The instructions that came with the mount were not entirely clear as the instructions did not show the radar mount clip as it did on the part sent. After trying different variations of how the mount works, I was able to figure it out. The attachment is very strong. One frustrating thing about the mount is that my Escort Max2 won't snap into place. It's just there. In the event of a strong impact or sharp impact, the radar will fall out of the bracket. I compared the mounting clip I received to the suction cup mount that came with my radar and found that the mounting brackets are different so my radar will not snap into place. For this reason I give this product 3 out of 5 stars. My suggestions for improving this article would be to revise the installation instructions and send radar mounting clips specific to the model of radar you need. Update September 11, 2017: Months have passed. I'm reducing my rating from 3 to 1. As mentioned in the above review, the mount does NOT hold my radar detector AT ALL. When turning onto the road or a small bump, it constantly falls out of the holder. Very disappointed.
