Review on Marineland Cartridge Refill Penguin Filter by Krystal Marie

24 hour review: I love this product as not only is it a money saver but it is cheaper than the crappy cartridges that come with the Marineland Penguin 200 filter wrong me wrong, it has a lot of space for multimedia, but the default configuration is garbage. Briefly about my current setup. 38 gallon tank Cartridge with Marineland 30ppm zeolite blend of biological sponges behind the cartridge 30ppm pre-filter sponge My ammonia level prior to this build was 0.2ppm which is concerning. After 24 hours I was down to 0.05ppm which is an excellent result in just one day, the only change being this cartridge with this medium. Haven't done a water change yet. Needless to say I'm impressed and will update once this setup has run for 30 days.
