Very nice fan. We installed it on a 3ft floor pole as our bedroom ceiling is high. I was afraid it would wobble and make noise with such a long rod, but it's very durable and quiet. It's quite powerful and fast, and moves air very well. We thought the remote would be in the box, but it's not. At the moment it works with the main switch on the wall, but we will install the remote control when the electrician comes for another installation. Someone mentioned that it's difficult to find a bottom stem that's the right width - we found it here at Revain (look for a bottom stem ceiling fan from Concord Fans). We also had a matching lighting set installed. There is enough light for the room.
