Was afraid to buy quite expensive fan online but it looked exactly what I was looking for. The bottom bar is short as shown. I bought an extension cable from Fananimation. Everyone who sees this fan loves it! The carving is beautiful. I was careful with the fan blades when connected to the motor. I was afraid they might break if I dropped them because of the intricate carving. Very rich color

I bought this fan for the master bedroom in our 'dream home' when it was still under construction. It fitted perfectly with the relaxed, tropical resort feel I wanted to create in our Hawaiian home. The fan runs quietly and is well balanced (it takes about 5 minutes for it to completely stop spinning after turning it off). It is a high quality material that looks and feels like wood. Very nice fan. We installed it on a 3ft floor pole as our bedroom ceiling is high. I was afraid it would wobble and make noise with such a long rod, but it's very durable and quiet. It's quite powerful and fast, and moves air very well. We thought the remote would be in the box, but it's not. After looking for a ceiling fan to complement our West Indian decor, we settled on this unit. There's no lighting kit included, which is a bit of a shame, but we ended up finding one we liked for another $30. LOVE this fan! Very rich appearance - really looks like wood but has a stronger polymer compound that will likely last longer than real wood without maintenance; Excellent quality. Completely silent. Got up with no problem; no adjustments needed for "wiggle". This fan is really nice and just what I was looking for. Installation was easy. I gave this fan 2 stars not for that reason. I purchased this fan from Revain through stock and it was listed as 'used - good condition'. Following the installation instructions, I turn on the fan wall switch and nothing happens.
