Review on ⚙️ Mueller Backflow Preventer-Vacuum Breaker FBA_108-904RP by Shakim Yates

I bought this and another brand to replace the old blocks originally installed on our outer tubes. They were both leaking due to worn rubber washers. Unfortunately, they use a breakable screw that is permanently inserted into the threads of the faucet. I tried drilling out but it was difficult as the size is so small, I also removed some of the threads because the metal from the drill bit and the old parts get stuck when removing, luckily plenty of teflon tape sealed both damaged pipe threads. Needless to say, I chose not to break the newly installed screw. Any additional damage will undoubtedly result in the entire valve having to be replaced. It's not worth it. Hope these last long!
