These suction cups work as described if instructions are followed. You MUST have a clean, flat surface and a clean suction cup. Larger suction cups could hold a large bottle of shampoo overnight if all application steps were followed (see image), smaller suction cups could hold wet loofah long enough to allow it to dry after use. However, if you just press the suction cup onto a flat surface without cleaning it, they FALL - there seems to be NO middle ground. So I recommend cleaning the entire shower area with a cleaner, cleaning the cups in the sink, then drying the cups and applying to the desired area once the shower walls are dry. Beware of those with mosaic walls in the shower room, they don't fit. There should be NO air gaps between the suction cup and the application surface. Finally, glass surfaces seem to offer the safest place for installation. The price is great for what you get. I think we will be using them for a long time. Once properly attached to the shower screen they are difficult to remove which is good as they can support the weight described.
