Bought for a 2011 Dodge Avenger 3.6L Pentastar. I had the same problem as many other reviews but I decided to give it a try. The downcomer that was supposed to go to the top of the block was too big in diameter. I didn't want to try to grind or file it and certainly didn't want to force it as I'm sure the o-ring would go bad. It's a lot of work and I didn't want to risk it. I got a newer version from the dealer that fit without any problems. Note. The OEM version of the Gen 2 oil cooler follows the profile of the Gen 1. It just looks a little different. Plus, the Gen 2 is over $100 cheaper. Hope that helps.
