Review on Wouxun Battery Eliminator KG UV9D Radio by Chris Hazzard

I had this machine and vomited after a week of use. Something must have gone wrong in production. I would have given 5 stars if my first one wasn't a flop. The fuse was still good, but there was no continuity or no voltage at the positive pole. They can't open it (without aggressive maneuvers) so I guess I'll never know. I went back and ordered another because there was no other option. Now I will say that this thing is amazing when it works. I was able to use it in my truck and at home with my solar generator (Rockpal's PS300) and didn't have to burn my HT's batteries. Considering the UV9Dplus is my only radio at the moment it's pretty nice to be able to stay on. If you are not fully mobile (on foot) this is very useful. I hope the replacement I have will be of better quality.
