Review on Elago Upgraded AirPods Dust Guard (Matte Rose Gold by Amy Punswick

This is the third Elago product I've bought and I'm quite a big fan of the company. I love their design and how smooth everything looks. I was very excited about the dust cover because it looked great. They arrived in the mail today and after watching the installation video they provided I felt good about installing them. The lid that fits on the airpods lid fits without any problem. The case is magnetic so it was a bit tricky to align but I was able to do it and snap the lid on to make it a perfect fit. I then moved on to the bottom which has Elago branding and a bright hole. I figured this side would be even easier with the hole as a guide and I could place it right side up. Not correct. At first I couldn't even get the lid out of the sticky packaging. It broke in 3 places due to the strong adhesive. Since I already had the first part installed, I figured I could go ahead and try leveling the broken parts later. When I tried to align it, the magnetic side of the case was VERY in the way. He kept yanking the thing out of my hand and moving. Then since it got stuck I had to use force to pull it out each time to straighten it. I was actually glad it already ripped because I didn't have to worry about it breaking again. In the end I got all 3 broken parts. It looks dirty where it's broken and I need to replace it because it bothers me. The top looks great, which is a shame. I'll start looking at other brands because it was fun. I'm 24 years old and I work in healthcare so I would say my manual dexterity is pretty good. I can't imagine someone like my dad trying to use it. Fairly tinkered with it
