Review on 🌡️ Sunnytech Educational Stirling Engine for Temperature Understanding by Brian Nelson

This item is much better made than I expected. It's artistically attractive when it's on the shelf and intellectually attractive when it works. This is interesting to watch and motivated me to finally find out how this wonderful device works. I was surprised to learn how many Stirling engines are in use today and that new ways to save energy are still being developed. . And the fact that I somehow decided to find out, exactly 200 years after Scottish Minister Robert Stirling invented it, strikes me as an odd coincidence. I am ordering a pair as a gift for my grandchildren. One caveat: This device doesn't do anything other than sit on a cup of hot liquid and twirl around. It is not suitable for people with limited curiosity. But it's a great way to get a bright kid away from shooter games and think about how the principles of science they were (hopefully) taught come together to make all the things we depend on work . .Contrary to some reviewers, my motor came with instructions! Just in case you don't, here's my version with a little reference to how a flywheel works: A. A flywheel has an axle with a small crank on each side of the wheel. They are different. B. Hold it so that each handle is directly over the connecting wire. C. Spread the support arms slightly and insert the ends of the flywheel into the small holes to make it spin. D. Slide each wire onto the crank pin over it and attach its hook to the pin. E. Place the device on a cup of hot coffee, wait 1-2 minutes and turn the handwheel one way or the other to start it. F. Remove the motor when it stops. G. Drink coffee. You can change the steps from E to G.
