Review on Intel G3258 Pentium Processor BX80646G3258 by Mateusz Cieciora ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

I purchased a model number 3420 that came with a packaged cooler. during their childhood when they played Pentium 2, 3, 4 on TV, fallen for advertising that was misleading. Since 2022, I have been using AMD 5000+, but I just made the decision to change because the older gear was showing signs of malfunctioning due to something. The score for the performance of the CPU increased from 5.5 to 7.1 in Windows 7. not a particularly significant accomplishment, although there has been some development in the past six years. The built-in video core met all of my expectations, scoring 6.6 on the graphics scale for games and 5.9 on the desktop. For the sake of comparison, I had a discrete video card with the model number gifors 8400. The performance was twice as bad as what I have now, but it was sufficient for my needs. Celeron is around a thousand dollars (one and a half times) cheaper than Pentium, and its performance is only 10-15 percent lower. If you are debating whether it is better to take a Pentium or a Celeron, my recommendation is to pick the Celeron. If you don't use complex software or play video games, you probably won't notice much of a difference between the two. The seven loads in ten to twelve seconds, but it is most likely due to the merit of the solid-state drive (SSD), rather than the merit of the processor. In addition, I strongly suggest that you should not rush into purchasing new hardware because the tried-and-true four and celeron processors that use the 775 socket continue to function correctly. despite the fact that they are somewhat more hungry and the manufacturing technology there is not 22nm but rather 65nm or anything along those lines. not the fact that the new CPUs will continue to function for the same amount of time.

Pros
  • integrated video core, low power consumption and heat dissipation, performance, and technology that uses 22nm process nodes.
Cons
  • To this point, just the price has been discussed.
